Congratulations to Dianna Bryant, PALS, our Q3 2025 CECA Foundation Winner.
There are so many wonderful things to say about Dianna as she is so loving, caring, and patient with the residents and always treats them like her own family. But I want to spotlight the amazing work she has done as a PAL and getting certain reclusive residents to come out of their shells and most importantly out of their room to programming. There is a particular resident who prefers to stay in his room and would not leave without a few certain staff and would need 1:1 assistance to attend programming. With patience, persistence, and her calming presence she was able to build trust and a friendship with this resident and now gets him out of his room regularly. The best part is that this resident now comes downstairs by himself which might seem small but is actually a huge step for this person. Seeing his smile and confidence has been absolutely amazing and Dianna should be recognized because she has had a huge part in his growth. Dianna is a shining example that here at The Virginia Home “We are Family” and “Love Lives Here”. Thank you for all you do!
