The Virginia Home and the Ceca Foundation have partnered together to recognize staff members who go above & beyond and make a huge difference in our resident’s lives. We are overjoyed to announce that this quarter’s CECA winner is, Andrea Barett-Curtis! 
Andrea is an exceptional member of our #TVHfamily who has been with us here at the home for going on eighteen years. Andrea is part of our nursing team here at the home, but her work goes far beyond her nursing duties as a CNA. She brings joy to everyone she meets. Even residents on other floors look forward to when they see her come through our front doors as she brings a smile and love to everyone. Her infectious laugh, compassion, and engaging personality never leave anyone feeling anything but her true friend.
Andrea gives each resident special attention to detail each and every day that never goes unnoticed– “She brightens up the whole floor. She gives extra showers even when they’re not scheduled. She helps with whatever the other shifts forget to do without complaining. She doesn’t know a stranger. She’s friendly to everyone and she gives excellent care.”
