The Ceca Award

In 2024, The Virginia Home proudly announced our partnership with the Ceca Foundation—a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the human experience in healthcare by celebrating outstanding caregivers. The Ceca Award Program recognizes staff who go above and beyond, as nominated by their peers and residents’ family members. These stories highlight deep compassion, professionalism, and dedication—core values that reflect the heart of our mission.

By celebrating excellence in caregiving, the program fosters stronger staff engagement and appreciation. Research shows this leads to better retention, increased safety and security, and higher quality of care for residents and their families. We are proud to recognize our recent award winners.
